Foodservice consumer and market trends: focus on the US

This presentation will look at evolving consumer behaviours and priorities in the US foodservice market, especially in times of remaining inflationary pressures. Mintel will develop how foodservice companies can:

 

1)     Drive the perception of value on plates with protein, natural ingredients but also format reinventions as well as loyalty programs/gamification

2)     Capitalize on diners’ interest in treating themselves when they eat out with seasonal flavour developments that stand out

3)     Balance the desire for classic sit-down experiences with demand for convenient, quick options with concepts that cater to both preferences.
