If not well directed and guided, food-related production sectors risk not only spending much more on day-to-day waste management (also due to the inability to reduce waste) but above all not complying with regulations, running both sanction and economic risks.
In this short meeting, we would like to give a brief overview of the problems of controls in companies and how to prepare for them, correlated with brief hints on waste management more generally, to avoid sanctioning problems, for the obvious repressive response foreseen by the numerous regulations set up to protect the environment and economically, for the impossibility of accessing bank credit for non-compliance with the environmental component now required by European ESG (environment, social, governance) standards.
