The European Selection brings together the continent’s leading gelato and pastry professionals, all competing for a place in the 12th edition of the Gelato World Cup, the world’s leading international team competition dedicated to the sector, taking place at SIGEP World 2028.
Eight European countries will compete in Rimini for a place in the world championship. With the support of Worldchefs and Istituto Alberghiero Malatesta di Rimini, the teams will take on a series of eight technical and creative challenges designed to test craftsmanship, innovation, flavour balance and presentation quality. The challenges will be:
