Errico Porzio

Errico Porzio, from Naples, class of '76, is a well-known Italian pizza maker and entrepreneur. The art of pizza runs in his family: his uncle, Mario Pellone, was already making a difference among Neapolitan pizzerias 50 years ago. Porzio started very young by opening his first pizzeria in Naples; since then he has expanded his brand with 16 pizzerias in several Italian cities, including Naples, Milan, Rome, Salerno, Cosenza, Formia, Caserta, and Bari.

In 2023, Porzio's pizzerias were ranked eighth among the world's best pizzeria chains by the “50 Top Pizza” guide; in 2004, it was ranked 11th in the same guide, the 4th best Italian chain in the world.

In addition to his entrepreneurial success, Porzio is known for his social commitment. By collaborating with voluntary associations and offering free pizzas at new openings of his pizzerias, he demonstrates his strong sense of community and generosity.
