DOP Balsamic Vinegar Meets Gelato

CNA Emilia-Romagna and CNA Reggio Emilia, together with the Consortium for the Protection of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia DOP, bring to SIGEP an exclusive event celebrating the meeting of tradition, innovation, and gastronomic creativity.

This event is designed to showcase and enhance two authentic excellences of the Emilia region: Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia PDO and artisanal gelato, a worldwide symbol of Italian craftsmanship and know-how.

Through a guided tasting experience and in-depth insights, visitors will discover how a product with a centuries-old history—born of patience, expertise, and cultural heritage—can engage in a surprising dialogue with the freshness and experimentation of artisanal gelato. A unique pairing that enhances aromas, balances, and contrasts, offering an unforgettable sensory experience.

The event also represents an important opportunity to promote the territory, artisanal enterprises, and high-quality supply chains, highlighting the value of collaboration between associations, consortia, and industry professionals. A moment of exchange between tradition and the future, product culture and new applications, set within the most important international trade fair dedicated to foodservice.
