Alessandro Pastore

Biography

In 2005, Alessandro Pastore co-founded Camfridge Ltd, a spin-off of the University of Camfridge, UK, where he is Executive Director of Business Development and a board member. After years of development, Camfridge Ltd is bringing to market a new cooling technology that allows customers to reduce costs and carbon footprint because it doesn't use refrigerant gases, is more efficient, and can be entirely recycled at the end of its life. For Camfridge, he won the 2012 European Venture Contest and raised funds of about £15 million. Before becoming an entrepreneur, he worked in large multinationals such as Siemens Com, CIR Group, and Telecom Italia, holding top positions and living in Italy, Argentina, France, Brazil, Germany, and the United Kingdom. He has participated in the creation of numerous innovative startups with two exits: Talaia Networks (a spin-off of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya acquired by Auvik Networks Inc. in 2018) and Talaia Solutions srl (acquired in 2021 by Eurisko Formazione srl). At Bologna Business School, he was co-founder in 2011 of the Green Energy and Sustainable Businesses track (now Sustainability and Innovation) of the English-language Global MBA program, where he currently holds the role of industry leader. In 2015, he participated in the conception and launch of the first Italian entrepreneurship accelerator, "UNIBO LaunchPAD" now "ReActor". Since 2019, he has been an adjunct professor at UNIBO and from 2025 at the Bayes Business School in London.
