ITALIAN BREWERS CUP CHAMPIONSHIP

Coffee Arena - Pav. A1

A preparation method widespread in Nordic countries, the United States, and Asian countries, which is also gaining interest in Italy. The coffee will be brewed by competitors using so-called manual 'pourover' methods, that is, with filtration systems where the barista pours hot water over the coffee grounds which will be retained by a filter. The participants, who will prepare 3 drinks each to be served to 3 sensory judges, must try to obtain not only a good coffee but also prepare it correctly with a solids value that will be measured by the judges with a 'refractometer'. The championship is valid for the WBC (World Brewers Cup).
