Among the numerous gelato competitions organized by the AIG, of particular value are the two Memorials dedicated to two prominent figures such as Alberto Pica and Lorenzo Cagnoni.
Alberto Pica has been a guide, a mentor, and an example of professionalism for many of us. In his memory, the competition dedicated to him was born as a tribute to his passion for gelato, his attention to the quality of ingredients, and his respect for the tradition of artisanal gelato. The "Alberto Pica Memorial" adheres to those values he embodied: balance of flavors, technical rigor, respect for raw materials.
