Yahei Suzuki

Yahei Suzuki is a chef of Italian cuisine and the owner of the Michelin-starred restaurant "Piatto Suzuki" in Tokyo, as well as the trattoria "Che Pacchia." He began his career in 1986, learning Italian cuisine under Chef Masaru Hirata. In 1992, he studied at the ICIF in Italy and worked in various Italian regions. Upon returning to Japan, he worked at the restaurant "Vino Hirata" before opening his own "Piatto Suzuki" in 2002, with a philosophy that combines tradition and the use of fresh seasonal ingredients. The restaurant was awarded one Michelin star from 2007 to 2021.
