Tropicalist agronomist, specialised in managing agricultural development projects, formulating technical proposals and research in temperate, subtropical and tropical climates. Expert in good production practices, commercialisation of agricultural products and valorisation of territorial excellence (coffee, cocoa, stevia, dates, spices), with a strong commitment to combating desertification and environmental sustainability. For over 20 years, he has been responsible for coffee and cocoa-related projects for the Italian Cooperation in Central America and the Caribbean. He is currently Coffee Research Leader at the La Marzocco Espresso Coffee Academy in Florence, where he manages research activities and relations with institutions and coffee origins.
