World Pastry Champion in Lyon in 2021, Lorenzo Puca is an international consultant and trainer.
Born in 1989, he took his first steps in the pastry world at the age of 13, working in both small and large establishments in his hometown of Pescara. He soon left his region to specialize across Italy, gaining experience at the nation’s top schools and companies. In 2013, he returned to Abruzzo seeking new challenges, entering the world of competitions and quickly achieving remarkable results, including winning the Italian Pastry Championship twice and qualifying twice for the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie. In 2021, he won the competition after placing third globally in 2019. Embracing the spirit of this prestigious event, Lorenzo continues to work with Club Italia to mentor and train Italian teams.
In 2023, he served as President of the International Jury at the Coupe du Monde, and in 2025, he returns as a juror, representing Team Italy after serving as team manager.
In January 2024, he published his first book, FRAGILE (Chiriotti Editori), entirely focused on artistic sugarwork.
In 2025, his second book, CLASSICO FUTURO: Simple, Light, and Practical Pastry – The Technique and Philosophy of a World Champion (Chiriotti Editori), will be released.
An tireless researcher, Puca is dedicated to personalized consulting and training for companies and schools in Italy and abroad, sharing his expertise and philosophy in the fields of artistic sugarwork and "classical future" pastry.
