Giacomo Biviano

Biography

Giacomo Biviano is the CEO of Domori, where he was already a member of the Board of Directors. Within the Polo del Gusto holding company, Biviano also serves as Chairman of Achillea and CEO of Pintaudi.

Previously, Biviano was the CEO of Appennino Food Spa (since 2022), a Bologna-based company and qualitative leader in truffles, mushrooms, and sauces, with a turnover of €19 million, operating in the HoReCa and retail sectors, and a strong international presence (55% of turnover exported). The company employs approximately 60 people.

From 2019 to 2022, he was the Commercial Director of Acque Minerali San Benedetto Spa, a leading company in mineral water and soft drinks, managing the Italian and export commercial organization with a turnover of €650 million, as well as Global Marketing Direction.

In the past, as a management consultant, he worked for Camel Spa (a premium distillates company, handling the relaunch of the Tosolini brand in Italy and abroad), San Benedetto Spa, and Domori Spa, where he also served as a board member.

From 1989 to 2017, he worked for illycaffè Spa, focusing on commercial business development in Italy and especially abroad. At illycaffè, he dealt with marketing and communication, production, logistics, and procurement, also taking on general management roles not only in commercial companies but also in manufacturing businesses such as Mitaca Spa.

During his tenure, he witnessed the company's total turnover grow from approximately €12,000 to nearly €500,000, opened over 120 export markets, founded several commercial branches, and participated in numerous BPR projects and corporate certifications.
