Eliseo Tonti

Biography

Born in Italy and raised in Switzerland, Eliseo Tonti is a renowned pastry chef and chocolatier known internationally. Formerly the owner, along with his wife Monique, of a prestigious pastry shop in Vevey, he later became a trainer and teacher, strongly believing in the sharing of knowledge. He even created a new decoration technique, Decor 2000, based on stylized lines, simplified and rational shapes, which has revolutionized the industry worldwide. Author of several books, he combines Swiss rationality with Italian creativity. At Sigep 2025, he will present his autobiography "Il volo di un piaf", paired with a reasoned summary of his "Decor 2000" (Chiriotti Editori).
