COFFEE EXPERIENCE DESIGN - DESIGNING NEW SPACES FOR CAFFÉS, SPECIALTY COFFEE, BAKERY COFFEE

The world of coffee and its sales and service channels have undergone profound transformations in recent years: coffee is no longer a commodity, the types of extractions and recipes go beyond espresso, and the Italian-style bar is no longer the sole and preferred channel of consumption. This change has seen new protagonists enter the market, often young people, and has required companies in the sector's supply chain to rethink their business paradigms.
In this context, the need to provide training to the market in managing/designing this new type of experience/venues emerges, which is why the Coffee Experience Design course aims to transfer knowledge, tools, and methodologies of experience design applied to the world of coffee, with a particular focus on new caffés/bakery coffee shops, without neglecting the cross-sectoral approach to other hospitality sectors, primarily the hotel industry.
